Ideas for year 11 formal, fancy dress?

and not something that everyone does... i want something really original, even if its totally ridiculous, just as long as its hilarious. i'm so over everyone going as a fricken S****y nurse! my brother went as a pinecone last year, it was the best thing i've ever seen. any ideas?
