Ideas of things to do while babysitting?

I don't do much babysitting so I need some ideas of what I could do with 2 boys. They're ages 8 and 10.

I'm not sure about what kind of things they have near them (swimming, park, ice cream shop, etc.) so I need some ideas of what I could do with them! Both at their home and away from their home

You could try playing some board games with them, or play child games like hide and seek. Another fun thing would be to go for a bike ride to an ice-cream parlor or something like that.

At home... you could buy some water balloons and let them do that for a while. Then so the mess isn't so much tell them if they hurry up and pick the pieces up real fast you can move on to the next fun thing to do. Which could be a movie or games. You could talk to the parents to find out what kind of parks are close. That is the biggest thing my little brother will spend hours at a park. This way they are around other kids their age and have lots to do.
