Question:

Ideas on how to add speakers or headphones to full-face ski helmet?

Recently, while skiing in Snowbird, I saw a skier in the tram line who seemed to have a pretty sweet setup going on. He had taken his full face helmet off for walking through the line and it was sitting on top of his skis. Hanging off the lower edge of the helmet was a silver iPod shuffle. I think the helmet was a Giro Remedy, but could be wrong. I have Googled every combination of the following words;

full face ski snowboard helmet audio speakers

and I cannot find anything. Does anyone know of a way to add speakers/earphones to a full face helmet? Any retrofit kits? Or is there a helmet like this on the market already that I can't find?

This dude looked like a ripper, so maybe it was a prototype that we'll be seeing next year, but I'd love to get something even sooner. Thanks!

  1. use an Ipod with ear buds.  Put them on and then the helmet over.

  2. use duck tape lolololololol

  3. in snowmobileing there are 2way radios so you can talk to another sled but listen to music ??????

    I think your putting your life in danger wearing a helmet is a good thing but makes it harder to hear

    look at dennis Kirk .com you may find something there

    good luck
