The difference between genders - there has been a lot made of girls lagging behind (generally) in science and math in the past ten years, so corrections have been made, but no one has taken into account how these changes have affected boys, and how boys tend to lag behind in Social Science courses (English, History, etc).  There is some very interesting stuff out there, best of luck!
