  1. IDEAS:

    - Write your own vows

    - Instead of walking down the aisle to music have a pre-recorded message to your future husband

    - Have a photo booth at the reception

    - Throw candy at your guests as you leave the ceremony instead of having them throw something at you (bird seed, etc.)

    - Donate the money you would have spent on favors for your guests to a local charity.

  2. Favours - Possibly a CD of favourite music in the family.

Releasing two doves (not so original but its a nice idea)

  3. please dont stay happy marriage is only a piece of paper

  4. What makes a wedding special is the way one feels about the marriage taking place, about the bride and/or groom. So give up the idea that there is something you can "do" at your wedding to make you special to people who do not already hold you (and/or your intended) in special regard.

Stive to make your wedding fun and festive, lovely and loving, convenient and comfortable for your guests -- just like you would for any other party. Remember, most people LIKE weddings that follow the traditional pattern with alterations in detail to fit the tastes, circumstances, and peculiarities of the people involved.

  5. You should do a special first dance. This video is pretty cool... check it out.

  6. When you are dancing at your first dance you and your fiancee could break out in your own dance that you have practiced before the wedding just to start the entertainment

  7. How about a sand ceremony, or unity candle for the ceremony.

For the reception you could have an awesome candy bar with your color theme.

When the cake is served, you could have a coffee or espresso bar.

How about having a signature cocktail that matches your colors.

A cigar roller is always a big hit with the men.

A really big hit now is the bride and groom having a choreographed first dance that wows the guests.

    Best wishes to you.

  8. hi, if you havnt got a photographer yet we saved a fortune by using a guy called bri williams photography he does a studio at the reception which allows your guests to have a family portrait as a reminder of your day which he prints there and then he was there all day and night and didnt rip us off we were in hull and he was happy to travel to us, hope this helps

  9. Make it about the bride and groom.  For example--one of my daughter's good friends got married, and they're both aspiring Broadway actresses.  The bride incorporated her love of Broadway into the wedding in big and small ways.  She had a vocalist sing "All I Ask of You" from The Phantom of the Opera during the lighting of the unity candle.  Their first dance was to the duet Tony and Maria sing in West Side Story (the name escapes me right now).  The tables were named after theatres in the Theatre District in NYC.  My daughter took notes...LOL

So find something that you enjoy, your fiance enjoys, and make that a part of your wedding--you can incorporate it in any way imaginable.  If you're wondering, check with a local wedding planner--you can pay them for a small consultation fee, and get ALL SORTS of ideas for your wedding.

    Good luck!
