A "friend" gave my husband some pills in an unmarked bottle for his 'headaches'. I am curious what he gave him. I looked at the Drug imprint sites I could find and the imprint does not come up (except at one you have to pay for results)

Was wondering if anyone knew what this is. He said it was like Tylenol but I dont trust an unmarked bottle and wont let him take them.

Thanks!

  1. You won't let him?? What's that about?

  2. someone has trust issues with all those 'inverted commas' ;)

  3. Please be careful.  This particular pill does not show up in the major Pill Identifiers.  It's easy enough to get headache medicine at the store, and no need to take unknown medications.

The US Food and Drug Agency has an email-based drug identification system, and I'm sure they can help you if you really want to pin down what this is.

You can find instructions for the FDA service, and links to other pill identification sites, at this eHow article:

  4. 311:

    Acetaminophen 500mg (Tylenol)

  5. It is generic acetaminophen made by OHM pharmaceuticals .

  6. call your pharmacy - they can look it up
