I purchased this plant this year no tags nothing, it just looked cool. Curious if I need to take cuttings and hold over to the next year indoors or will it withstand zone 7 winters.

Here is a pic

  1. That pretty plant looks familiar...but regardless, it will NOT survive Zone 7 winters.  Take it inside before the first frost.  Succulents are warm-weather plants.

Try to propagate it by cutting off a leaf and placing it directly into the soil.  Most succulents with leaves like this one will grow roots and develop into its own plant.

  2. It looks like stonecrop.  Sedum. Sedums can be left in the ground in zone 7, and They will spread rapidly.  (If that is what it is)

  3. Looks like a kalanchoe.
