Question:

Identify a Blackbird with odd call sound?

This morning, I had a new visitor in my yard: it looked like a small-to-mid sized blackbird. Though my view was partially obstructed by leaves (it was perched in a large bush). The striking thing was its very odd call sound--it sounded like big drops of rain falling into water. Or any water drops falling into water, really. I live in Massachusetts. Does anyone know what kind of bird this might be? Its call was most distinctive.

    Red Wing Blackbird.

This site has picture and his song.

If you use back to list button, you can check out the rest of the blackbirds.
