Question:

Identify a vine?

Vines that look exactly like wild grapes are common in my yard. They have no fruit, although I whack them out pretty often so they may never get to that stage. Any thoughts as to what they are?

I love mine.... it must be controlled, of course, since the berries seed the plant really good!!!.... but the flowers and berries are worth the work, to me.....

  2. It sounds like a wild grape vine.

  3. The wild grape vine you are seeing in your yard is Muscadine or Scuppernog.  They grow wild and can be invasive.  Let a few climb tree or fence, they are great tasting.  It will take few years to bear fruit.

    God Luck and enjoy

  4. They are weeds...
