There were 2 William Pitts, the elder was a British statesman at the time of the the American War for Independence.  W.P. the Younger was also a British statesman, who guided the british government during the early years of the wars with France and Napoleon in the 1790s and early 19th century.

    Pontiac was the Ottawa Indian chief who led a rebellion against imposition of British rule in the areas of North America lost by France as a result of the French and Indian War.  Ps rebellion took place in 1763 and resulted in the British Proclamation of 1763 which prevented white settlement werst of the Appalachian mountains.

    Nathaniel Bacon led a rebellion against Governror Berkeley of Virginia in 1676.  It is called Bacon's rebellion and my time is about up n this cmputer at the ibrary.  Bye.
