  1. The key is knowing the Slope Intercept form of a line: y = mx + b  where m is the slope and b is the y-intercept.

    Since your slope is 2 and your y-intercept is -3, plug it into the equation:

    y = 2x - 3

    Now you have to figure out which of the multiple choice answers equate to yours.  Key:  solve each of them for y until you find the one that matches yours.

    Ex:  A) 2x + y = -3

    Subtract 2x from both sides to isolate y and you get

    y = -2x - 3.  Since this doesn't match your's, that's not the right answer.  Now do this again for each of the remaining choices.

  2.   B is the answer

  3. B

  4. B) 2x - y = 3

    100% sure

    you are welcome lol

  5. Put the equations in standard form:

    A) y = -2x -3

    B) y = 2x -3

    C) y = -2x +3

    D) y = 2x + 3

    Now the equations are in the form y = (slope)x + (intercept), so it is easy to  find the one with slope = 2 and intercept  = -3.

  6. obviously the answer is B however, you are very lucky that ur in algebra right now, i regret not liking algebra and doing things just like you, going on yahoo answers for help and c**p but now since i moved up a grade level i wised i wouldve spent time acually learning algebra so if you dont get it, ask for help.

    math will be extremely difficult as u get older.

  7. y = mx + b

    m=slope, b=y-intercept

    y = 2x + (-3)

    y = 2x - 3

    2x - y = 3

    Answer: B (2x-y=3)

  8. If you studied and did your own work you would be able to answer this on your own.
