    B...The 'Reaction' is the the rapid Decomposition of the H2CO3 into CO2 and H2O.

    One Actual reaction is CaCO3 + H2O = CaO + H2CO3.


  2. By convention the reactants are those compounds on the left side of the → or = sign. Therefore in your example the reactants are CO2 and H2O = answer B.

    For completion, the compounds to the right of the → or = sign are called the products. In your case H2CO3
