Identify this beetle .Flying,black with orange stripes.1/2" long,green head,six legs,2 large black antenna?

Details given by you, show that you are talking about a tiger beetle,  it is a harmless insect and farmer friendly, as it doesnot harm the crops, infact it feeds on the pesticides. So, if you see this insect again, don't rush to kill it.
