Question:

Identifying An Old Boardgame With Figurines?

Hello. I used to have a boardgame of the fantasy sort, but not hardcore fantasy or anything like D & D. It was a simple kid's boardgame, but the figurines with which you moved on the board were soft-plastic fantasy figures on soft-plastic stands. They were each about 2/3 of the height of a normal action figure, maybe half.

Anyone have any idea what game this was? I loved it immensely, it'd be cool to know. Thanks.

  1. The game you're describing sounds a lot like "Fantasy Forest"

Even the description of the figures seems right: http://www.boardgamegeek.com/image/26052...

I believe the figures were only available in a later release of the game, as they are characters from the D & D cartoon of the '80's, and the original game had standard game pawns.

    Happy gaming!

  2. Heroquest?
