Almost all organizations and individual persons face threat from the hackers who use the sensitive information stored in the database for personal gains. The sensitive information includes details about employees, clients, customers and so on who are also equally worried about their identity being under threat. So all this intensifies the need for information security and the most plausible solution is identity management.

Earlier the means of identity management were passwords or magnetic cards but with the development of technology, hackers have found ways to break even that. So these have been replaced with much more secure access technologies like fingerprint readers, retina scanners, palm readers, etc.



Now identity management systems are available that help to reduce the time and costs required in maintaining system security.
