I send info. by accident to what i thought was a program for my school but it wasn't

I already filed a complain for fraud alert. am i safe?

  1. Never give anyone your social security # as the rest falls in place for those type of people.

  2. If you gave a Date of Birth, and not just an age they might be able to try to get credit in your name..... but with what you post that you gave out, that is information that one could find in a phone book or a high school annual, guessing your age by the grade you were in..........

    Since you put the fraud alert on your Credit History, you have nothing to worry about.... any credit card or merchant account business has to contact you to verify the info on an application.... and since you did not give out your phone number as well, then how could they do that.... the notice of the fraud alert at the 3 credit reporting agencies would tell them something is up and not to issue any accounts....... You have done exactly what you should do........

  3. If "they" know your address, does that mean "they" know where to find your door?
