Before making adjustment to my friend's online resume, He accidently had his home address on it and submitted jobs online, but nothing else. Now he is worried that he might be in trouble. Anyone with answer would be greatly appreciated

  1. hunh?  he didnt put his social security number on there did he? ...but since he's applying for jobs he'd provide his home address and ssn anyway...but don't ever put that on a resume.  there shouldnt be any worries though.  just a basic resume format was sent it seems.  good luck to him on the job hunt though.  ;-)

  2. His identity is safe if thats the only things he did. Having a persons home address is not identity theft.

  3. i don't understand what the worry is. if he just sent it to jobs the most he could get is a few junk mail items. i really don't think that it is a problem to be worried about. =)

  4. Think you need to re-word your question. It doesn't make sense. Sorry.

  5. I wouldn't be too worried about it. As long as it didn't have his social security number on it.

To obtain access to info, have to know date of birth, address, social security number, and some personal information (like which one of these places did you have credit).

And social security office won't give card or number without birth certificate. And state records won't give that without ID. Have to have birth certificate to get ID.

That's why it's such a pain when losing a purse or wallet.
