Idk what to get for my friends 17th birthday?!? ?

one of my best friends is turning 17 on the 28th and i don't know what to get her. shes not very picky and i think she would like anything thing i get her but i dont want to get her the usual lotion kit from bath and body. im making her a really cool card with pictures and everything so i cant make a scrapbook or something like that. also shes hard to shop for because she doesnt wear a lot of name brand things so i cant just go to hollister or something and pick something out. i want it to be good =) please help

also my friends and i dont know what to do for her birthday.

im having the same problem except i dont know what to ask for....

when my best friend turned 16 i gave her a necklace with her  initials on it...and she seemed to really like it....if that dosent sound right...itunes gift cards are always fun to get

as for the birthday party.....mabe you could have a cookout or something
