  1. Pull The air cleaner and see if the idle air control valve is working.  I know on a 1500 its on the left side of the throttle body when looking fromt the front.  It is a cone shaped valve that moves in and out to control the idle.  The valve has a 4 wire plug, and can be removed and cleaned.
