Idles great, revs great, but misses through gears?

Question

1991 s10 2.8 5 speed

Idles fantastic but when driving it misses. It acts like a fuel problem so I changed the fuel filter and fuel pump, but it didn't fix it.

Going to go out and pull the plugs now to see how they look but was wondering what you guys thought?

plugs and wires..... maybe a new dist. cap and rotor will fix her up

It would most likely be igniton related. Plugs and wires are the best bet.

Most problems under load are ignition related such as cap, rotor, plug wires and spark plugs.

Check the compression. If this engine is original, it probably has a boatload of miles. It might be getting tired.
