I have a stop 2001 honda passport that will not idle properly the car wants to die when you come to a stop at a red light or stop sign it always starts right back up. It runs perfect when you going at a constant speed. They have replaced the fuel sending unit and replaced the oxygen sensor and they cleaned the throttle body. I just got it from the garage after they said it was running great and was fixed and its doing the same thing. I'm taking it back to them to see whats wrong again what do you think it could be? no check engine lights are on or anything

  1. replacing the fuel sending unit and the oxygen sensor has nothing to do with your honda idling properly. If there was a check engine light that came on then yes I'd say the o2 sensor is bad. you probably have a bad throttle position sensor. does the rpm goes up and down?
