  1. No, your not to old. There are many girls that go to regionals at your age, though you will be in  the non-qualifying competitive part  because you are over 13 years old.   There should be many girls your age competition at this level.

I think you should compete in this competition,  you have about 3 months to get ready for it and I know you'll have fun and you'll see a lot of interesting skating and get ideas plus, it looks good on your resume if you ever decide to coach one day.

t's like the skating Bible. It's everything you wanted to know about figure skating.

  2. It depends. In Canada, you have to be under 13 as of July 1st before the competition. But it's highly regulated, and I don't know what it's like anywhere else.

  3. Well i am going to be honest, okay hun? I am 14 aswell and you are going to find that you are one of the oldest there. But that dosen't mean your too old. Just because there are younger people one the same level as you it dosen't mean you dont have a good chance at winning.

Winning competitions is not always about the skater's skating it is often to do with their attitude and perserverance. And, as you are older you have obviously learnt more life lessons. Which in my eyes puts you ahead for doing well in regionals.

    Good luck hun. xx
