  1. = $3.91/2.27

    = $391/227

    = $1.72 56/227

    Answer: $1.72 56/227 exactly, $1.72 approximately

  2. $3.91/2.27 = $1.72

  3. Hi,

    3.91......x

    ------.=.-------

    2.27......1

    Cross multiply to solve

    2.27x = 3.91

    x = 1.72

    1 kg costs $1.72 <==ANSWER

    I hope that helps!! :-)

  4.                              2.27 kg                               3.91

                                   1                                       x

    x=1X3.91/2.27=1.72245.

                                   2.27 kg                                3.91

                                  HOW MUCH                           1

    HOW MUCH=2.27X1/3.91=0.58

  5. Well, I'm not sure about this, but I got about 1.72 rounded.  I did 3.91/2.27, to figure out what x was.

    Kinda hard to explain...

    Sorry

  6. $3.91/2.27 = $1.72

  7. 3.91 / 2.27 = 1.72$

  8. Cost of 2.27kg = $3.91

    so cost of 1kg = $3.91/2.27kg

                          = $1.722

  9. 1.722 is ur answer simply divide 3.91 by 2.27

  10. Direct Variation! Head of it?

        2.27kg=$3.91

           1kg=?$

    Cross multiplication

              (1kgx$3.91)/2.27kg=$1.722467

    You may give your answer to a specific number of significant figures

          i.e 1kg costs $2 to 1 significant figure.

  11. My answer is $1.72. I divided 2.27 by 3.91. This is how I did it:

    2.27/3.91 and 1/X  , I first multiplied the denominator(Bottom of fraction) of the first fraction by one which was the numerator(number at top of fraction) of the second fraction.Then I divided what I multiplied by the number on top of first fraction to get my answer. Hope this helps.

  12. $3.91/2.27 kg = $1.72/kg therefore 1 kg costs $1.72
