If 3 children of one family are good runners making their school athlete team?

Would the younger two children have a good chance of been good runners.

yes, of course they would. My older sister was a good runner. She got a lot of our schools records, than I came along and broke my older sisters school record. I have a younger sister and she is a good runner to but she is still to young for the schools track team. So I guess I will find out in a year if she is better than me or not.

Since they have the same genes it is a good chance that all of the children will have some ability.

That is not always true, and a lot depends on what the children like to do, because if they don't like athletics then it doesn't matter what kind of talent they possess they will not do well.
