  1. they use different syrups for the sugar in the mix, varying from country to country. they use the cheapest sugar. simply, it just comes down to their profit margins.

  2. Have you ever heard the story of The king with no clothes.

Enough money spent on advertising the public will buy anything.Look at American elections.Getting the idea.

  3. I live in the US and my boyfriend  lives in the UK, he has a friend there that works for Pepsi, he says their government regulates how much caffeine and sugar can go in their sodas, so by altering those ingredients it won't taste the same from country to country. I've tried the Coca cola over there, and it is very different than ours here in the US

  4. In some countries, the ingrediants allowed by government agencies differ.

  5. They bought name from coca-cola.Mostly made from the basic taste of the local..Im now in Holland....Coke here isn't as sweet as Thailand But I do prefer Thai's one becoz it's sweet and the bubble isn't too strong.

Most of drinks change by the taste of the local.

Like RedBull....In Thailand we never have sparkling Redbull, here in Holland all redbulls are sparkling and i hate it!

  6. I think Coca Cola tastes the same wherever you go and I have been to A LOT of different countries. However you may be right because Coke ship the SYRUP to the differnent factories across the world and leave them to mix it with the water, but they all follow the same measurments, procedures and directions so they do taste the same. Unless you are talking about different types of Coca Cola brands ie. Fanta and Sprite

  7. Its not that Coca-Cola tastes like c**p in different countries, it just taste different to what you are used to. 'Diet Coke' here in Canada tastes totally different than 'Cola Light' in Germany. It depends on how they mix it, the different water in that country and the different sugar. Best place to taste the different Coke-Cola from around the world is in Las Vegas at the Coke-Cola tower beside MGM

  8. the syrup may be made from the same formula, but water quality varies from place to place.

  9. they have different factories around the world using locally soruces ingredients to keep costs down, so you end up with slightly different tastes.

  10. It's amazing the amount of misinformation that lives here.

Most American sodas are not made with sugar, they're made with High-fructose corn syrup. It tastes different than cane sugar and is cheap and easier for huge corporations to handle - not that sugar's a health food.

We are used to the flavor of High-fructose corn syrup here and you think that the foreign stuff tastes like c**p. OK.

I've seen people go to a certain Hispanic store near here and buy cases of Mexican Coke in glass bottles because that's the way ALL Cokes used to taste here. They say it's much much better!

  11. Coca-cola may taste great.

Unfortunately all cola is made of c**p.

It is very bad for you.

    Ask any doctor.

  12. People in different parts of the world have different tastes, so as a marketing idea coca cola has been clever enough to alter their recipe to suit different populations different tastes, this is in order to still sell millions of cooldrinks instead of the people in the area just drinking something else
