  1. In my area, your insurance premium is partly based on how many miles you drive to work.  If you live under 10 mi. from your job, you not only save ins. premiums, but gasoline too.  Drive safe no matter how many miles you drive.  It is not the miles you drive, but how safe you are and being aware of the other drivers around you.

If you drive like a maniac, then you pay the price no matter how few miles you drive.

  2. FANTASTIC idea ! Im doing it right now !

  3. Because then you would be involved in 25% of all the accidents in your old neiborhood

  4. Are you a Democrat?  Oh!  Smiley face; you were joking.  I'm glad to hear that you are not one.

Since this is your question and you are taking the responsibility for the percentage of accidents occurring near your home....If you feel that 75% of accidents happen within 5 miles of YOUR home, please let me know your zipcode so that I will avoid your area up to a circumference of 10 miles when driving through!!!   :-)

Just trying to be a wiseA$$ like you!!! You bring the sarcastic best out in me!!!

    TRYING?

  9. I don't think this would work because as soon as you move, that's your new home and you will still have 75% of your accidents within 5 miles of your new address. I think the only solution would be to get a PO box set up at a post office and make sure you live 10 miles away from that. Then as long as you avoid entering the 10 mile PO exclusion zone and never give out your 'real' home address, you should be able to drive around with your eyes shut ok.
