If A penguin turned 1 year, is it a kid or still a baby?

Like if it was 2, 3, or even 1 year old would it be a baby still or an adult or a kid. Or even an elder penguin. LOL

I want to know how old is a penguin(in years or days) is it an adult or kid or baby. Thanks!

In the animal world, adulthood is generally determined by the age at which an animal is able to have offspring. Different species reach sexual maturity at different times, but Emperor Penguins (the largest and most recognizable species) are sexually mature after five years.

A one-year-old penguin is not a baby any more, but they have several years to go before they make it to adulthood.
