  1. I think he's a little too busy to play games. I really don't understand the animosity against someone who is trying to preserve our environment, seriously! I mean what would you guys do each autumn if there are too few deer left to kill for your enjoyment? What if all the lakes dry up so much you can't waste fuel with your high power boats? How long would you stand for not being able to leave your monster trucks running while you stop off for your 12 pack and skoal because gas prices are so high? And then theres the Nascar and Indy races that could get banned because of gross carbon emmision violations! Really guys you might want to rethink your stance!

  2. Good question.  Al Gore isn't who everyone thinks he is.  He is not even human from what I can tell, I believe fallen angels (yes I mean "aliens")  took over his body years ago, he just puts up this facade like any other politician.  There are no good high ranking politicians worth listening to or voting for, that includes Obama.  Anyone who votes for this guy will be sorry in the long run mark my words.  I believe he is going to usher in the destruction of America if Bush doesn't go to war with Iran and declare martial law.   When it happens don't be surprised if people are sent to FEMA camps willingly or not, and if not "3 AM" is a good time to load your guns and defend what is rightfully yours and protect the ones you love.

Even knowing all that (I dont care what you think about it) I just really want to escape from society and travel the world.  Time really seems to stand still when you're away from everything and everyone enjoying the simple things in life.

  3. because if he did the other pirates would be put out of business you see Al is much too liberal to be a pilot ...

  4. He's already a "Red."

You have to love how the alarmists are now distancing themselves from Gore - when he was seen as an asset to their cause, they had no problem with him.    They really threw him under the bus.     Er, the hybrid.     How long before they say comments about Hansen should be in the Politics section because he works for the government?

Gore is a politician - and an activist.    What he DID do was call attention to the issue - in large part through hyperbole and distortion.    I saw the book that is the complement to the movie, just yesterday.    He basically says global warming caused Katrina, simply because the storm increased in intensity when it passed over the warm Gulf of Mexico - as if the Gulf of Mexico wasn't always warm in late August, as if hurricanes hadn't increased in intensity when they passed over the Gulf before, as if that wasn't par for the course.....

  5. because being a pirate is not cool enough for him.

  6. Can we please move the Al Gore questions to US politics? He is irrelevant to Global Warming.

The man is, after all, a politician, and he did what all politicians are supposed to do, highlight an issue that he thought was important to the nation.

However, what he did NOT do was any basic research, or formulate any theories or develop solutions concerning AGW - he simply passed info along and helped stimulate a debatë: Politics, not science.

Some AGW doubters use Gore's personal life for them not to accept responsibility or to justify their lack of action. This is just an excuse and has nothing to do with AGW. It is irrelevant.

Just as Gore has nothing to do with AGW beyond getting it into the (American) public arena; which has been done. Anything else is irrelevant.

Finally, GLOBAL warming is not an American issue, it is a global one. Gore is an American politician. Although well known in some other countries (predominantly Western or Anglophone nations), he is not well known in many other countries and, I would guess, not known to a majority of the people on this planet. Hence, he is irrelevant to a debate on a global issue.

You may have noticed a certain repetition here: "Irrelevant".

As Gore is irrelevant to AGW, and your question is all about Gore (no mention of AGW in the question), hence your question is not about AGW and is, therefore, in the wrong category.

Might I remind you of the YA guidelines:

"miscategorization of a question is not automatically considered a violation. However, repeatedly posting questions in the wrong category could result in a violation of the Community Guidelines"

  7. He is a Pirate, He has Pirated the minds of people into not thinking for themselves. And having him do it for them.

It is funny how people are always daming the oil companies, when is it bad to make a profit? Their are allot of companies out their make very good profits. But they don't get the attention the oil company do.

If Congress would do it job and allow oil drilling in places that off limits for reason no one know why. If they did their job like they are suppose to maybe we would not be in the situation we have right now.

If some people need to realize that is the demand is high so is the price. Plain and simple.

  8. Excuse me, you are trying to say he is not yet one? I am sorry because I thought when his oil company connections were reveled it was more widely recognized that he had always been one.

  9. He is a little like a pirate in the way he's been conning and ripping off ignorant, uninformed people for many years now.

But now that he's been exposed as a charlatan, even the left is starting to discard him like they do with all radical liberals when they no longer need them.

For example, when is the last time you saw Cindy Sheehan?

So he's become more of a pariah than a pirate nowadays.

  10. Gore does not live like he believes in GW....

  11. Al Gore who I respect very much is not going to stop global warming!  Nor is anybody else!
