no one person can ever control the world. look at hitler, he failed. I believe someone can try to control the world and either be overrun or destroy the world completely.Say he did conquor a quarter of the world, he is not going to capture even half of the super powers of the world without either being over run completly, starting a nuclear apocolypse, or being taken control of by the people he has already conquered. It is simply impossible for any one person to rule the world.
