bid to host the next non-attributed Olympics, would they have a chance?

(By non-attributed, I mean the Olympics whose host hasn't been decided yet...)

  1. Sure.  If they did a good job the 1st time it might even give them an advantage because the IOC wouldn't need to worry about construction schedules and political delays.  The facilities are already done and ready to go for the most part.


  2. No, other cities use the building of an infrastructure as a reason for hosting the games.  Besides, these things are very expensive, Greece was 8.6 billion dollars in debt following the last Olympics and although it would cost less to re-host it, it would still be very expensive and political madness for any government to do that.
