If BBC News announced Aliens had landed on earth what 'proof' would you need before you believed it?

Would you trust the news, would you need to see video proof...how would you know its legit...would you need to see it for yourself? How much can we really trust what we're told?

I wouldnt trust the news I would ask them to send an alien round so I could talk to  them myself.

You cant trust Governments, Doctors, Priests to tell the truth (look at any current news) so why believe BBC  News?

There are so many conspiracy theories and misinformation given out so I would prefer to see for myself.

I believe they have been here, and are visiting so you won't have to convince me, but I would like to talk to one.

I also think that Governments know alot more than they are saying, simply because not all of us would be able to handle the fact that something more intelligent than us is here. (They must be more intelligent to travel that far) I think some people would be terrified that they would be able to take over the world,  but the question is, would they really want to??

Thats the thing, whenever we here the news, be it radio, tv or online, we believe it. We never question anything.

I would like to see the proof but as I already believe a video will not make me change my opinion on aliens.

i think i would believe BBC news, they wouldn't outright lie (i don't think) if they say things like 'suspected' or 'possible' i wouldn't believe it, but if they say it as fact, then yeah, i would be glued to the TV

Kate Aide, if she was on holiday there and was then asked to go on live I would believe it. You know the rule if you see Kate Aide sign in to a hotel it is time to  book out and get to the airport before it is closed.

I would require the consensus of the international scientific community. The proof would have to be in the form of some information or some physical evidence that was undeniably extraterrestrial in nature.

No doubt they would report that the aliens support Gordon Brown and want Obama to win the US election.

I would trust BBC more to report the truth in this case than I would the USA's news stations.

If it was the BBC that reported it I would believe it implicitly. Because it would mean that they would have had corroborating evidence, double checked their sources and in the case of an alien landing, would already have had clearance from the Home Office to break the news.

I would not trust any other news source in the same way.

some say we are aliens and life on earth originated from another planet i.e mars via a comet. so we could well be aliens if that theory is true.
