  1. The government taxes the profits of these corporations.


  2. The federal gas tax is .9 % of every gallon sold.  So the government is not getting as much money as the "big oil" companies.  And our roads are still in sorry shape.  See the link below for the history of the gas tax

    The money for single mums on benefits ( Vicky Pollards of this world AND they exist) and Work shy dole scum has to come from somewhere. (sigh)
