  1. Not at all.

Marriage is like a team. Each teamate have its strenghts and weakneses but all follow the leader, otherwise the team fails.

  2. Not unless he was mistreating her.

I would be uncomfortable thinking that the "most powerful man in the world" went home to be hen pecked by some scary dominant wife... just saying... doesn't sound like a very good or strong leader.

  3. I've watched the election every since it started. And it seems to me (based on how I've seen them interact with one another) they see one another as equals. She's campaigned for him, and she's by his side 90% of the time. Even his body langauge when they stand side by side, together on the stage at his rallies shows that he not only views her as his wife, but as his partner, his supportive figure, and his best friend. He ensures that she's included in everthing he does, which makes it easier for her to place him as being her king, and she his queen.

She trusts him, she has confidence in him, and she can step back and allow him to be the man in the relationship because he celebrates her as his woman (Which is the way it should be). If you haven't noticed, she gets fisty when she thinks someone is talking about her man! And I don't blame her. I would be the same way if Bill O'Rlye kept attacking my man on purpose. He's had to calm her down and reasure her during several interviews (that I've seen) that the words many used to describe him doesn't bother him. Because she's ready to stand against anyone who stands against him.

And I wanted to let a few of you trolls in here in on a little secret (I hope I'm correct in saying this) I think Obama is looking at three women to run as his VP! That would be aswsome!

    Edit:

Just a little correction to Ethan’s comment up there. Not every species on the plant is dominated by the male. For example the praying mantis, the sea horse, some species of spiders (the black widow for example), some birds are genetically designed for the female to be larger than the male. I think what a lot of men like yourself fail to realize is that no woman wants to be physically or mentally dominated. That’s just what some of YOU want to believe. I know for me personally, I don’t want to be in a relationships where my opinion doesn’t matter (or count), or I have no say in the daily doings of the household. For contrary to popular belief, this is a form of oppression. And submissiveness is a trait that some men look for in a woman, because they’re the type of men who fears standing up to another man.

Any man who feels he must assure his dominance over a woman is a coward. Because these are the same men that will not utter a peep to another man when being challenged. They pray on those who they know will not and can not match them in physical strength and fight back. And I’m not saying that this is you personally because I don’t know you (and don’t want too) But just by the statement you’ve posted, I think it’s safe for me to assume that you’re the type of guy that believes that a woman should “stay in her place” because you yourself don’t know your own.

Many men kill me when they say they wear the pants but don’t want to “pay the cost to be the boss”. Meaning handling the family finances responsibly, coming home at a decent hour out of respect to their wives, or simply being faithful. It’s takes a lot more the being the king of a mans home then just being dominate one and bringing home the bacon. I’ve learned that having a p***s doesn’t mean you rule the roost. Keep your woman satisfied and secured in your ability to keep your home a happy home. Because if you don’t, someone else will…….

  4. No, he respects her enough and she shows it,  she is not push over.

  5. Just because someone is the head of a family doesn't mean the other person is oppressed...d**n, give me a break.  We wonder why the world is never happy.

  6. Please don't tell me you are one of those feminist. Those people are crazy whinny cry babies. Michelle is not oppressed and Barrack is not a sexist!

  7. A ship only has ONE captain!! Get over it. A good captain treats his crew with dignity and respect and a bad one gets mutiny and tossed over board. Why should the assumption be made that because a woman respects her husband, she oppressed!! Maybe if you made a better choice in husbands you would understand that.

  8. She's everywhere with him. She's about as vocal as he is. She's the farthest thing from oppressed besides Hillary herself. I don't think their family has one head, but two.

  9. I agree with the above...In my family my man is the head of the family.  I told him this "You are the pants in this relationship, but I'm the BELT that holds them up."  It takes two.  I'll gladly follow my man and his lead but everyone ***** up sometimes and thats what Im for...to right him when he's wrong so he never slips

  10. Actually, I think you're wrong. I think if one person was to wear the pants, it would be her.  Michelle went under a lot of fire for publicly talking about his dirty socks and being perceived as wearing the pants.  It wasn't an image the public liked at the time...the public usually favors the quiet, cookie baking Laura Bush type.  And remember Michelle used to be his boss.

But regardless of whether or not one wears the pants, none of them seem too oppressed to me.

EDIT: Thanks "Lincoln."  You know you and I are on the same page when it comes to this issue, so no need to get sensitive just cuz I told you to be wrong in this case. Since none of us know them personally, I'd rather base my assumption on previous statements made by her publicly, than your proof-less "betting."

Finally, looking forward to "Lance"  scoring the BA :)

  11. ::beats head into wall::

  12. Don't buy into the feminist hype that the traditional family structure is oppressive to women.  Women all over the world live happily and not oppressed with their husband as the head of the household.

  13. oh shut ur feminist views up. a man is supposed to be the head of the family. that doesnt mean the woman is oppressed or a lesser person. so stop thinking everything has a racist or sexist meaning to it.

  14. no, of course not.  for a man to be the head of his family is nature.  look at practically every species on the planet.  the males are bigger, more aggressive, and more dominant than the females.  for a male to be the head of the household doesn't oppress women, because some women want to be dominated.  some women want to dominate and marry submissive men, but most women want to be dominated and look for dominant men.  the feminists who think all people should be like them, the ones who think women should all be more like men and men should all be more like women, are very narrow minded in my opinion.  not all feminists are like that, but i definitely have a problem with the ones who have a problem with dominant men and submissive women.
