If Barbie dolls are so popular, why do you still need to buy them friends?

I buy them because as a wannabe artist (with face-blindness), I like having a variety of male & female headsculpts on hand.  I can usually "rescue" these gals from resale shops for under two dollars.  I only use poser bodies, however.

lol. That's a funny thought. I guess Barbie - like many rich, thin, shallow, and beautiful blondes, has to attract friends with her cash and fancy plastic cars!
