If Bella (from the Twilight Series) hates blood... how does she not faint during her period?

yeah, i totally wondered about that too! but she said she hates the rust-and-salt smell of blood from a wound, and period blood wouldn't be like that. that's just what i think, i don't know it it's true, but i tried!

Clever question. I never thought of it before.. and what about Edward and his family? Surely, they'd all know when she was on her period and that would have been awkward and dangerous for Bella..

I think it's because she finds the smell of blood "rusty", but period blood smells different i guess. I was wondering that too, I hope it helps.

I know nothing of Twilight, except that it's about vampires, but I know people who hate the sight of blood, who are women.  It's different seeing menstruation than seeing a wound bleeding.
