If Biden has the experience Obama is lacking, Why is Obama the nominee for President?

It is a much stronger ticket with Biden on top.

  1. Obama sold himself to the american public better than Clinton did. Experienced or not america bought into what Obama had to say.  The best person for the job is Biden. Biden balances out Obama's idealism. Clinton would be just a marketing machine but not very effective as a VP.


  2. The Democrats wanted someone who can bring in the unfaithful Republicans and Independents.  Who better than Barack Obama at the top of the ticket.

  3. because Obama is smart. He will say things that Americans would want to hear, and they believe him.  

  4. Obama is the democrat nominee because he is charming ,young ,speaks well, is clean (lol) and is BLACK .

  5. Because of three things - Sorros' money, Clinton's miscalculation, and the fact that he is one of the biggest con-artists of all time.

  6. I bet you voted for Bush who had little experience even though the much more experienced Cheney wasn't on top, eh?  :)

    Edited to add:  He 'ran' it for a short time.  Please, everyone knows that Cheney  was added to bring experience to that ticket, particularly in foreign affairs just like Biden, so why deny reality?

    Edited to add again:  He was elected in 1994 to be governor and ran for President in 2000.  In other words, he had a total of 6 years being governor but obviously spent 2000 and even before that running for President, so saying he was a 'two term governor' is a distortion.  He was elected for two terms but served a little over one term before he ran for Prez.  

    Again, Cheney was added to add experience, particularly in foreign policy to the ticket.  Obama was a state legislator before becoming a U.S. Senator.  He added Biden to the ticket to shore up the experience factor of the ticket, particularly in foreign affairs, just like Bush.

  7. If Biden had ever declared his candidacy for President this time around, this question would be at least somewhat relevant.

    But he didn't, so the question makes no sense.


  8. Because Biden's a 30 year proven butt hole, and

    since Obama hasn't proven it yet, people think he

    might not be.
