Well, it's nearly all over - thank God! In my opinion this year's Big Brother has been the most lamentable series in the programmes nine year history.
What a tiresome bunch of uninteresting non-entities the BB contestants have been this year. I liked a few of them, disliked most of them and felt nothing at all for a couple of them. As long as Rex doesn't win the grand prise and is seen for what he is by the viewing public, I couldn't care less about who wins the money in the final or what happens almost all of them when the show expires and mercifully comes to an overdue end.
Thousands of men and women applied to enter the BB house to compete as housemates for the £100,000 prise. Are we really supposed to believe that the current crop of hopelessly dull and colourless contestants represent the cream skimmed from the surface of this multitude who auditioned?
Surely the next series, if there is one, should be populated by flamboyant, interesting and engaging characters rather than the tawdry, disturbed and dreary housemates we watched fall apart, abuse and embarrass each other on a daily basis over the last three months?
I appeal to the makers of this series to select a better standard of contestant in future, if there is a future, for a show that sadly seems to be all but dead on its feet.
If Big Brother isn't ENTERTAINING, AMUSING and FUN what the h**l good is it at all?
What do you reckon?
