  1. More costly than anything that Embraer could build.

  2. A bongbus

  3. A Wide Body plane could be called a Bulbous BoeBus?

  4. metric and standard nuts and bolts look out for the screws

  5. A Great Sucess

    Half American Half European

    Boebus

    Airing

    Aeroing

    Boeairbus

    Bairing

  6. Airing, and probably fill of holes.

  7. bairbus

  8. we have a conspiracy

  9. It would probably be an anti-trust violation!

Luckily, if this happened, there would be no metric-english conflict, as Airbus builds everything to English standards, just relabeled in millimeters.

    Examples:

    sheet stock:  0.020"=.5mm

    .040"=1 mm

    Bolt sizes-

    6.25 mm (1/4 inch)

    12.52 mm (1/2 inch)

For locations of things, Boeing uses decimal inches (not fractions) so it's simple to convert, as their suppliers often do.

    etc, etc.

  10. These rivals would never join forces.

As their governments and countries are different.

They both have a totally different type of client el.

As far as the name goes......

If its military it could be like F/A-18 Hornet

    F- Fighter

    A- Attacker

And the new company would be called.

    Boe-bus

    Bo-bus.

    Air-ing

or it could be a totally different name like United Aircrafts or Synergy.

  11. It would be half-awesome.

Seriously though, the animosity between the two makes a partnership highly unlikely.

  12. If it came to the point of Airbus and Boeing working together it would be an aircraft that would maximize profits for both companies.  It would probably be a large capacity twin to replace the A380/A340/747/777.  I can't think of any better names than the previous answerer's came up with.

For people who think it can't happen, just look at the collaboration by the British and French (Aérospatiale-BAC) on the Concorde.  They were previously bitter rivals in post-war aviation.  Also, pretty much every jet engine manufacturer has entered into alliances to share development costs and profits.

  13. Bobus

    Airing

    AirBo

    BoeingBus

  14. Many well-equiped flights will be designed in future and we are able to enjoy this services nicely..

  15. The day may come when Boeing and Airbus will decide to work together on an aircraft. The cost of research and development has risen to unbelievable levels.  Airbus spent over $12 billion before delivering it's first A380.

To get them to work together the project would probably be something with a very high R & D.  The project might have a totally new type of propusion system or something totally new like a spanloader or a hypersonic aircraft.  International markets as they are set up to buy and sell aircraft in U.S. dollars has hurt Airbus on occasion. Airbus has already indicated that it wants to open a factory somewhere in the southern U.S.  I would not rule out some sort of risk sharing agreement or merger in the future.

    .

  16. completed on time

  17. BIG and Expensive

  18. 380AB747

  19. one expensive aircraft

  20. How about an economically viable supersonic aircraft?
