If Canadians got enough signatures, could we get the U.S. to build a wall separating our countries?

Why do the Mexicans get a wall, but we don't?

Also, how much would it cost to make a man-made river dividing the U.S. from Canada?

Still if you Canadians started making campaign contributions to our politicians, you could probably convince them to do it.

Yes it is possible all that is necessary is to ask for the signatures of loggers against the exportation of raw logs. Then point out to citizens what trade policies do to construction,health care and such. Then get the signatures of people being evicted from trailer parks  to give way to new condos as this would put more pressure on The Gov to listen as there would be no distractions. As to how to build it all it takes is a Union of construction workers wanting to end bad job practices. Also the help of Mexico maybe or South American countries. Bull dozers naturally and Canadian Army Engineers as well. This still leaves smuggling by sea and air a concern though. As to how much it woul cost that depends on what it is made of if concrete would estimate in the millions. Then there would be the cost of guarding it. It would be to the advantage of other nations to have one between the U.S. and Canada as it would keep jobs inside the countries if there were a Mexico U.S. Border and a Canadian U.S. Border. There was a Berlin wall after all. A Moat you mean on a large scale well isn't there a natural river already in place along part of the border. If Mexicans have one then perhaps a revolution will occur and end reason for sneaking across plus it could remain up like others to change the policy against trade. Then nukes could point at each nation and another Cold War occur unless revolutions were to occur in each at the same time.

Canada is just a poor dependent of the US as it is.

That's because the Canadians can't do anything for themselves.  But this is an idea that deserves further review.  I think our country would benefit from this - anyone remember the bird flu?

are you saying this to keep the Americans out? if you are , why don't you look up how many canadians ran across the detroit river to work all their lives in the auto plants. you get a couple of hippies we don't want and you p**s and moan. look up some facts first.
