  1. If wasn't CIA, they sure would have made no trouble.

CIA started it all.  Everybody knows CIA supplied Dalai Lama weapons for the ARMED uprising in 1950s, and didn't stop until 1970s.  And ironically gave him Noble "Peace" Prize in 1989.

If you check old maps of Chinese Qing Dynasty, and even ROC.  Those regions were all on the Chinese map.   Well don't say it's Chinese propaganda...funny thing is...you just can't find a single map without those regions on old Chinese map.  I even saw an American propaganda film released during World War II, it mentioned about China and it included Tibet on the map.

So who is lying?  Who is trying to control their own people's minds through "free" mainstream mass media?

  2. If so, then westerners wouldn't ever care about it. Look at Georgia and South Ossetia; you will pretty much have your answer.

  3. I think it'd be interesting to have a census done in Tibet. We can't just take the Dali Lama's word for it.

Their quality of life has increased. Check the statistics. Oppression must suck though.

It's be interesting to see how they feel.
