  1. Yes it is okay. Every life is here for a reason. I was a teen mom myself and I am glad I kept my son. There are plenty of places that will help teen mothers including churches. If they don't they are hypocrites. We are to love all people no matter what they do.

  2. Christians live their lives according to the bible and to their church's rules.  If that teen has married legally and religiously and is married in the sight of God then of course it is allowed.

If the teen is not married then she has commited a sin, pre marital s*x.  Becoming pregnant may not be the main sin.  But reguardless it`s not the age that is the sin.  It`s the s*x part before being married that is not allowed.

If you are part of that church for a while you will be looked at harshly by the more elderly because of the way they were brought up.  Depending what denomination the pastors will offer their help and talk but if it is truly a Christian church the pastors will never turn their back on you for support.

Reguarding money?  You won't like this, but my answer will be no.  Instead the pastors and members will help you out with other stuff that can be worth more than money such as emotional support, help to doctor's visits, finding cheap or free stuff on the net (http://www.kijiji.ca http://www.kijiji.com).  Give you hand-me-downs.  Give you advice if they have ever been pregnant at a young age.

I wouldn't just go up to the alter and say "Hey, I'm pregnant!  Give me free stuff and free councilling".  Go see your pastor first.

If you`re a teen and you`re pregnant and need a new church or  denomination to attend then try a youth group in your same age groups.

    Hope it helps.

  3. Whoever is pregnant with the kid has the right to do what they want with it.

  4. A pregnant teen is not the ideal situation. It is preferable to abortion, and my diocese has a program to help unwed mothers, believe it or not.

I have always assumed that this was the norm.

  5. The LDS (mormon) church has a whole adoption system in place and a welfare system, as well.

Why should a church encourage a teen to keep the child over the more unselfish act which is usually better for the child, and put the child up for adoption?

  6. ahahahahahaha...-_-not funny

teens should know better than that

  7. they should keep it a pregnant teen is better then a dead baby, they should have used protection or keeped their legs closed its their fault not the baby's

  8. its fine with me long as i dont have to pay for the thing

  9. You asked two questions ...

    1.  I'm against abortion, I was adopted, as well as being pro-education.  No, teen pregnancy is not okay, but it is a fact of life.  If it does happen, then the family and community should help the teenager overcome the mistake so that they (yes, mother and father of the child) don't make any further mistakes in their young lives.

    2.  Yes, churches help out, both in funds as well as assistance in finding training schools, day care, clothing, transportation and help with bill paying so the mother can finish her education and make something of herself, both for her and the baby.

  10. Many young girls find themselves in the situation of being pregnant and unmarried after having unprotected s*x or maybe having a failure of their birth control. Often the girl does not want a child and does not want any ties to the father of her unborn child. Maybe he doesn't want to be a father any more than she wants to be a mother. It is not "okay" to get pregnant but it is definitely not okay to kill this innocent child because of it's parent's mistakes. The child deserves the chance to have a life even though it is not wanted by it's parents. Adoption is a loving option that gives this little baby a chance to have a life with two parents who will love it and take care of it and give it a family. We wouldn't think of killing the young lady who gets pregant out of wedlock but many don't see a problem with killing the child that she has conceived. Two wrongs don't make a right. There are some churches who have ministries to young girls and give them a place to live with good prenatal care till they deliver their child and they can receive counseling about whether to keep their child or to give it up for adoption. There are also Pregnancy Help Centers that will help with counseling and other needs of a young girl who doesn't want to live away from her home during her pregnancy. I was a baby born to a 16 year old girl and I am very glad that I was not aborted. I am now 61 yrs. old and I have a loving husband,  2 children and 3 grandchildren who love their Grammy very much. I've not had a trouble free life but I've had a good life and I am thankful for the chance to live. My birth mom let my grandparents adopt me because she knew it was best for me. She now lives with me in her aging years. Where would she be if she'd have done away with me while I was still in her womb?

  11. It's not "ok" with them, it's just that there's this failed assumption that teens won't be having s*x because of their "Christian values" in the first place.

Robert P, why should a mother be forced to carry a child from a horrible man, who may very well prove to be a source of nothing but trouble and misery for her?

  12. why should the child suffer for the womens poor choices. two wrongs don't make a right.some churchs might help.

  13. It's not the unborn babies fault if females are sleeping around or are raped.

  14. <<If Christians are against Abortion, then teen pregnancy is Okay if they get pregnant?>>

Not quite. Assuming the teenager isn't married, she and her boyfriend committed an act of fornication; having s*x out of wedlock. This is a sin, so morally speaking, it isn't okay.

However, it would be wrong of her to compound the mistake and sin of fornication by committing the even greater sin of murder through abortion.

Unmarried teenagers shouldn't become pregnant in the first place. When it happens, it's best when the teenager chooses to keep her baby.

<<Do churches help out with funds for teen mothers in order to help them keep the child?>>

Absolutely, yes! However, these teenage mothers HAVE TO go to these charities as ASK FOR help.

Ironically, many teenage mothers are too ashamed to ask for help from places specifically orientated to help them.

  15. No. But pregnancy and childbirth are better than murder.

Yes. Many churches help unwed mothers and their children.

  16. no unmarried teen s*x is wrong and therefor unmarried pregnancy is wrong but abortion is not the answer to the 1 wrong already committed

  17. It is if you're Sarah Palin's fornicating teenage daughter.  The fornicating is winked at and the girl is glorified as a "hero" of the pro-life cause!  I guess the end justifies the means for some people.

  18. Many churches provide funds to help teenage mothers including my own!  My dad's church provides nearly 50% of the funding for a pregnancy resource center that helps unwed teenage mothers with prenatal care, adoption counseling and parenting classes for those that don't want to give up the child for adoption.  Check out the yellow pages sometime...you'll probably find that the majority of the "resource centers" for pregnant teens in your area are funded with donations from churches and other Christian groups.

  19. I'm a pro-choice Christian. No where in the Bible it says abortion or the death penalty are murder. It's illegal for pro-lifers or gun right activists to misinterpret the Bible like that. We are no fools.

  20. No offence but if a teenager gets pregnant then why should a church get involved in her life? If she really needed help with finances then I don't see any problem in helping but a teenager is just like any other female who decided to have s*x and got pregnant without intention. Helping pay every little need is like saying "You made a mistake but it's ok. We'll pay for it and then after you have it, if you do it again and have another baby we'll pay for that too!" It's life. Teens that get pregnant that didn't intend to get pregnant need to learn the hard way. That's life.

  21. Ask them where in the bible it says that abortion is wrong.

  22. they also believe in no s*x before marriage...

  23. shouldnt be having the kid before marriage.

  24. Yes many do.

If you are in need of one, call your local Salvation Army, or Birthright.

They usually have very reliable contact numbers.
