Cricket haters take over the world, and outlaw cricket. If that ever happened, what other sport would you follow (if any)?

And say what it is you like about this other sport.

  1. If cricket be ban for life (god help us) then I would watch all my favourite collection of cricket game especially the ashes games but then I also like karate, swimming, tennis etc because these sports are not only played by men but also women

  2. It might as well be,as no live cricket,no county games,no one dayers.TSM has been dumbed down and can no longer listen. All l see is 45 mins on 5 about 30 times per year.

Snooker l love, and tennis and table tennis (none on TV) and footy...but none run into my blood in the way test match cricket does

  3. the crickets outside my window annoy me

  4. Tennis or Soccer or F1

  5. Dwarf chucking.

  6. Baseball. It makes a lot more sense.

  7. If there was no cricket, I'd lock myself in my room and slowly starve myself. But in the meantime, I'd follow union, which has tactics, strategy, and a whole lot of tackling!

  8. I don't think I'd notice..

  9. Field Hockey! I think all Indians will follow field hockey if cricket was snatched.

  10. I'd probably be able to sleep a bit better in the winter... What a horrible thought!!

I'd follow football, which is what I do in the depths of winter when England aren't playing. If they are, I usually venture down to Ipswich shattered.

However, I'd rather not make myself like the Premiership, and if any cricket haters tried to take over, well, quite frankly a cricketing army would be well protected! (comedy drum)

  11. Basketball

  12. tennis enjoyable to watch

  13. the indain premier league

  14. I'd re-invent cricket!

  15. Boxing

  16. I single-handedly make a new game Kricket, this game would have the exact same rules and regulations as cricket. Except i would be the head of the IKC (International Kricket Council) so England would win everything and i would be the captain

and if that fails there's always Tennis, and good old Roger Federer

  17. goat grooming

  18. If cricket was banned for life firstly i would cry my eyes out, then i would get stuck back into watching my Motor Sports..

Mainly Aussie V8 Supercars and also Nascars.

The reason i like Motor sports so much is because of the excitment and also the great skill of the drivers too..

I also love it when there are crashes(As long as no-one is hurt)..I love the smell of the race track, the smell of the petrol and just hearing the reving of the motors really excites me..

But i would much rather they did'nt ban cricket cause it is the best sport in the world!!...

  19. may be Ice hockey~

  20. Nothing happens if cricket is banned :p will just follow any other sports...

  21. bed cricket

  22. same sport I follow now,hockey

  23. I would have more time to support my football team Newcastle United ... and they sure need all the support they can get!! :)

  24. Bum hunch

  25. I follow almost all the sports except cricket.Football  (soccer as the americans call it), Field hockey, tennis, Formula one, WRC, and Sometimes badminton. These sports excites me visually and astonishes me with the dedication, skill and physical capabilities of these sportspersons.

If cricket was banned it would not matter much but i will be missing the aussies, SA's, srilankans, kiwis and english cricketers. But banning cricket in india will be the happiest day in my life

  26. Football (soccer), tennis, rugby union, motorsports and occasionally track and field (especially as all the athletic talent from the West Indies would get channelled to soccer and track, you would see ever greater domination of these sports by the Caribbean people).

  27. If cricket ceased to exist, then I'll probably follow my 2nd favourite sport - Field Hockey! I just love the way field hockey is played. It involves a lot of skill and great tactics.

  28. hypothetical situation, i just can't imagine being without cricket, however if it happens, i would follow Tennis especially the russian female tennis stars have always been sportspersons of great interest!

    best wishes!

  29. My dear old thing it would be too awful to contemplate. Summers  just simply wouldn't be the same. What would I do with my MCC tie, Lol? And England are even winning ODI's.  Being a baseball fan it would have to be baseball.
