Question:

If Cubs win the WS and Edmonds gets WS mvp, will the once "thought washed up Jim" instantly become a LEGEND?

Think about it. The Cubs very well could make it to the World Series. And Jim Edmonds is definitely the type of guy who could get very hot in clutch situations.

Could Edmonds go from "washed up" to Legend in the same season?

If he did, it would be a HUGE story! That story would be even further magnified by the fact that he would be looked at as the "man who finally got the hard luck Cubs a world title after 100 years"!

  1. Legend, no, but it sure would make the Padres feel really stupid for releasing him and not getting anything for it.  I think it would be great though.  Just another superstar the Padres let go.  


  2. I say Yes, I hate to burst your Bubble but the Cubs won't even Make it to the World Series, The Brewers will win the Pennant, and the Cubs will blow another Opportunity to become Champions.
