I mean only the Distrito Nacional without counting Santo Domingo Este, Oeste, Norte and the rest of Santo Domingo province. I haven't been in DR since 97 so I don't know how much things have changed, but I look up Dominican news online and pics. I see that the D.N. is more modern now with a skyline that makes it look like any big developed city in the world. So if the DN were a country would it be considered a developed country?

  1. To a certain extent yes, it would be considered developed, however it will not be considered a first world nation as the USA or Canada.  It still would be in between first and third world nation status.

  2. Yes, more or less. But if you will visit it you will see that some things are great and some things are Dominican....
