  1. h**l no, cuz i know alot of my white friends got into rap just cuz of him and i know most white ppl changed their mind about rap after eminem. idk if thats a negative thing or what but its true,.

plus he's not that great a rapper, he's mediocre at best but he's overrated cuz his colour.

  2. Maybe I know that Dre didn't know he was white when he signed him but then again he has admitted that if he was black he would have only sold half. If he was I think he might have stayed underground for awhile but I'm for sure that he would have got signed by someone else but then again Dre might still have fould him cuz the Infinite album said nothing about him being white and that's how Dre discovered him.

  3. Honestly he would've sold less because if you think about it he's the only really really popular white emcee [Vinnie Paz,R.A The rugged man are good but not well known.]

It's Because it's so rare to have a good white emcee that actully sells alot.

    That it attracts people.

  4. That's like asking if biggie was thin would he have been as successful. of course he would have. it's the talent and not the looks that makes you great. take vanilla ice for example, he's white and he sucks

  5. Successful in terms of album sales? Of course not. He said it himself - 'if i was black, i'd only sell half.' That's where all the controversy/interest derived itself from earlier this decade - the country was so surprised that a white dude was saying these things, as if he was the only/first one to say those things. It all goes back to the stereotypes/racism still prevalent in today's society.

In terms of skill, his skin color had nothing to do with it. His first 4 albums (including Infinite), give him top 10 qualifications.

  6. i think some people just interpret the lyrics and rhymes rather than a skin tone

  7. No

because he'd go through a whole different past if he was black

people can't say its only his lyrics not the color of his skin

but people need to think about the past

if he grew up as a black kid his life would be different

he might not be alive, he might have gone to selling drugs because he would've been treated completely different

if he was black then he'd probably not even start making music

so people can't be sayin that its the lyrics that matters

that he'd be making the same lyrics if he was black

    cause he wouldn't

his life would be completely different

he'd probably still be living on 8 mile

so he wouldn't be successful if he was black because he'd be growing up with a whole bunch of new things happening to him

now i'm not racist cause i'm saying he wouldn't be successful cause he's black i'm saying he wouldn't be successful cause his childhood wouldn't be the same

  8. Perhaps not AS successful but I still think success and his path would have met.  Whether a lot of people want to admit it or not...lyrically the guy has it down pat.  They may not agree with what his rhymes are about...because he doesn't rap about guns, hoes and money....but there are a lot of people out there who CAN relate to what he raps about.  He's as "raw" because of what I consider almost terrorist "like" threats" to his ex-wife and family but he's gangsta.  The 8 Mile movie told it exactly like it was...and even though he didn't grow up in the ghetto it was something a lot of people could relate to.

NO ONE SHOULD BE JUDGE BY THE COLOR OF THEIR SKIN IN ANY SITUATION.

    Peace & Love  :)

  9. Yea his MUSIC is good.

  10. yeah people love him

  11. No!

  12. yeah, he got so papular cuz of his crazy and conterversal lyrics not cuz of his skin color, he said things no raper ever had said, he is crazy in his songs and says anything,it might of helped a little but i still thik he would have sold alot, its all about what comes out of his mouth not his skin color

  13. straight from EMINEMS mouth:

"Lets do the math: if I was Black I would've sold half

I ain't have to graduate from Lincoln High School to know that."

  14. yes have you never heard of vanilla ice one song ice ice baby and after that what the surreal life on vh1

  15. the color of his skin didnt really matter he had skills the only thing if eminem was black he would start saying the n word.

  16. Co-Sign Wit Just Blaise

  17. No because his first music if he was black people would think he's whack, well that's my take anyway

If he was black and made the music he did when he first came out he'd be garbage is what im sayin
