  1. I think that's the reason people are holding back from using ethanol. It sounds good on paper, but in reality, I don't think it is


  2. You should read this link, it's interesting. I don;t think it take more energy to produce ethanol. It probably uses the same amount or even less then production of crude oil.

  3. So we don't have to live with the environmental and social consequences for drilling in ecologically sensitive areas of the world and starting wars and calling it 'anti-terrorism'.

    But you're right.. Ethanol alone isn't the answer.

    Ride your bike. Shop locally. Reduce the demand.
