If GOPs worship McCain because he is a war hero then why is it they spit on war heroes begging for alms on?

The only reason GOPs are worshipping McCain now is because somehow he got the nomination. They haven't like him since he cheated on his wifey.

I don't know what alms are, but the GOP doesn't call our troops, rapists, terrorists, murderers, and such. This all comes from the left. Through out our recent history, it has been the left that does this. It is the left or Dems that have historically been against our own. Let us not forget that it is the Democratic party that has been the home of the Klan, replaced minority fathers with welfare, fought integration, even the Civil and equal rights president, Kennedy, that investigated Martin Luther King Jr for being a communist. Well he didn't due it personally, he had his brother, Bobby, head up that charge.

Hmmmm this is a generalized statement which means it is most likely wrong.  Have you actually watched a war hero on the streets be spit upon and then asked each and everyone of the people that spit on him what their political affiliation was?  I think not!  If you go find research on this a Conservative Republican is more likely to give and to give more then a Liberal Democrat by almost a 2 to 1 ratio.  This sight will give you some evidence of the fact although the amount does not equal 2 to 1.

Vets Hospital almost killed me off when i went in for a knee operation~!

i aspirated pnemonitis under anesthesia, they operated when i had a 102 temperature and the operation was rescheduled, but early the next morning the doped me up and took me to surgery~!

i woke up with my family all around me and i was being given the Last Rights, and a young Doctor said i wasn't gonna make it~!

i was spitting up blood and stomach acid for a month in intensive care unit~!

i sucked a lot of oxygen and got in a wheel chair and cruised around for hours, this helped to clear out my lungs from all the nasty junk that was in them~!

i had a touch of the flu, they weren't supposed to operate until i was over it, they did anyway, almost died~!

you can NOT sue Vets Hospital, even though lawyers said i had a solid air-tight case~!

their are a lot of Old Time Vets, hardcore Marines and Grunts in there crying in pain all night long because of te back surgerys they get~!

it needs improvement, they found that at the time they did my opertion that this was a major cause of deaths at Vets Hospitals across the Country, deaths under anesthesia, look it up, i still have the Doctors reports~!

The GOP send the youngest, bravest and the best men and women this country has to offer to illegal wars so they can do their dirty work none of the GOPs has the guts to do.

And when they get disabled, injured or paralyzed deny helping them and call them lazy drug addicts.

That is insulting to our republican members here at the post but lets look at the veterans hospitals and just how our wounded veterans are cared for ,last I heard it was a real mess that no one seems to EVEN GIVE A RATS ABOUT lets start there first then see if McCain can still be a war hero...regards f.p

I don't think there are many Republicans who worship McCain at all. And I don't think many support him BECAUSE he is a war hero.

His prisover-of-war story is just a testament to his character. Not the impetus for his candidacy.
