He isn't running the country.  The only thing he is doing is running scared although lately there appears on his face a look of weariness and relief!

He is a figure head --d**k Cheney and the advisers around him tell him what to do.  And if you  have watched Lieberman with McCain ( mcCrazy) you will see the same kind of interaction ( Lieberman will stand on tiptoe and whisper in his ear to correct or remind him).  They will have that wired and concealed, though, now that McCain is running with the big dogs.

Because most Americans are stupid...but, and this is only hoping, they've gotten a little smarter over the past 8 years and will make sure this debacle doesn't happen again by voting Obama into office.

He has a Bachelors degree from one Ivy League School, and a Master's Degree from another Ivy League School.  He was an officer in the military.  He flew jets.  He managed to beat Algore...the left's version of the "smartest man in the universe" in debates and in the election (yes, it was the electoral college...but the rules were in place before the election, not changed after it).  His vision for being proactive toward terrorists wherever they are housed is spot on.  The economy continues to plug along, based on the results from the second economic quarter.  He would like to solve the oil price problem by drilling for oil in America (seems smart and reasonable to me).  

I think the man is smart.  I believe that his heart rules his head when it comes to illegal aliens and bailing out banks/homeowner-investors.
