If Georgia became a NATO member a few months back, its WW3?

Question

USA and NATO has no choice but to fulfill the North Atlantic Treaty of 1949 which is to defend a member country if attacked.

Isn't it a blessing Georgia never became a NATO member like Bush wanted? Else we will be talking about bomb shelters right now (or hiding in it).

Russia invaded so that it WOULDN'T become a NATO member.  If it had been admitted to NATO already, Russia would have had no reason to invade them.

Georgia is not in NATO your right, but they are an ally of the U.S. WWIII could very well come of this yet, war mongering leaders will do anything for more power.

If you research this further you will see that the U.S are and always were involved. Of coarse you dont see covert ops. on treaty's though. The U.S has used Georgia as a puppet.

No, no WW3, because if it was part of NATO would it have gotten attacked.? And if it did, then we wouldnt have done anything either due to our current wars and the fact that no american person would allow us to get involved into another war. and also WW3 wont happen until at least 2075...before that theres not even enough tech for a good war ;) haha jkjk, but yeah its gonna occur between USA/India/Russia (and Europe) and China/all the other countries that hate us

If you review a map of the oil and ng pipelines running through Georgia then you will see why Russia went into high panic.  Putin claims that he was stopping ethnic cleansing in S. Ossetia.  I think the US more than likely asked him to make a show of force in Georgia to keep everyone's mittens off of the pipeline, which as you probably remember had a section bombed off recently by terrorists.  Georgia has a population of 4 million and 150,000 have already been displaced by something unusual going on in the region.  When 1/25 of a population is on the move, there is some really vicious fighting taking place.

You know youre exactly the type of guy that gets a headache and automatically assumes that you have a tumor.  Honestly, if you cant keep up then just dont watch the news, it is obviously too much for you to handle.
