Did global warming stop in 1998? If global warming has ceased, how come records are still being broken?

In 2007 many European countries had their warmest January on record. In The Netherlands temperatures were the highest since measurements were first taken in 1706. England had the warmest April in 348 years of record-keeping. Temperature records for summer heat were broken in south-eastern Europe in June and July. On 23 July, temperatures reached 45°C in Bulgaria, setting a new record. In Australia 2007 was the warmest year on record in the Murray Darling Basin & South Australia, New South Wales and Victoria. There was intense heat wave that engulfed western and central Russia in May, breaking several temperature records.   1. A sad fact that most of the doom mongers seem to overlook is that the sun is going through the warmest part of it's 10,000 year cycle. If the tempeture of the sun is up. The temp of the planet is up.


  2. Um - where did you get that global warming stopped in 1998???  It's going on - that is why it is in the news so much.

    We all have to make choices in our lives to make changes that will start to reduce the damage we are doing to the planet.
